Default Anti Roll Bar Bushes

As some of you may remember we have an Y plate rally car. it has the roll bar with out a drop link, and the outer bushes are quite worn and starting to knock.

I know OEM are long gone but i read somewhere that you can get some poly ones. where from?

Any suggestions?

powerplex seem to be one of the main players in the bush upgrade game. a lot of motor factors stock or can order them.

Powerflex make some good stuff, but aren't aware of the various changes regarding the various Type 85 ARB's over the years. Superflex are a better bet for the ARB bushes.... But I don't know if they do the very early ones.....

They certainly don't list them. Have them made, it quite straight forward. I recently had some RR 20V and Scirocco ones moulded using the originals to make the mould.

I think if you have the item off the car, and present it to them, they can develop such an item. Or at least guide you to someone that can 'machine' for you. They sell the raw material for making your own, as I understand.

ARB 'D' bushes are very difficult to machine, the simplest way is to make a mould - that way you can also make others.
