Can we pick a logo - PLEASE?!?!?

The current "revolving" logo is driving me quietly nuts. Every time it changes - even if off-screen - the page jumps about, which is especially annoying if you're writing a reply.

And the bandwidth use - even if the laptop is left for a while - is horrendous.

PLEASE let's fix on one - or perhaps rotate the existing ones on a daily basis rather than every few seconds.

My vote goes for the early white quat on Fuch's banner, if we have too.
But rotating the banner daily is a good idea.

it pains me to say this but i agree with you Phil, i like the look of the forum but the actual functionality of it is pants and yes it does jump about a bit!

Why not rotate every time you change page rather than at timed intervals

And i thought it was me lap top playing up!...................personaly i rather like it,bit like flicking through an old pile ov jazz mags lol.

I think there's no way we could agree on a specific logo so I'm in favour of it rotating on a daily basis.

If you are concerned about bandwidth Phil then why don't you switch over to the 'mobile' style: usercp -> options -> scroll to the bottom, look for 'forum skin'

It doesn't have the banner either.

The "jumping around behavior" can be fixed by putting all the logos into a single animated gif instead of having a script changing the whole gif each time.

I have really not noticed the jump-part until now, but now when i think of it it´s a little annoying, yes
