Default Electric Aerial PCB Relay

Decided to raise some cash and part with some items that I've had for a while. Unfortunately one of the more expensive and desirable parts is not working anymore.

What I need is one of the open type relays as one of mine is open circuit. The part number is V23133 A1001 A503. You will be able to see this on the side of the relay.

Please PM if you have a spare or a complete PCB that I can take parts off.

Hello Steve,

its a quite normal relay from Siemens. Still available for sale (as new part).
I can ask how much they are if I know the amount you want. You can also
talk to beermonster, maybe he also needs them, would make it even cheaper
then. Some for spare would also be a good idea

Cheers, Michael

I have a bucket load of these from old boards, Steve has managed to find another board to try in the interim......

Default Fuba aerial - PCB Board alternative from Bosch;-)

Dear Steve, Michael

Collaegue "Luck" visits me yesterday on the scrapyard

i found on a motor-driven Aerial antenna a Bosch time-relay
horribly expensive - 3 €

This makes exactly what we need, i believe you will find it very interesting

The Relay has five contacts:
30 = permanen +12V
31 = Mass (-)
RA - Input from the radio
M1 = Motor up - switches 4 seconds +12V output
M2= Motor Down - switches 4 Seconds +12V output

so you need only to fit this electronic into the antenna and
make a jump-lead from RA to the Antenna amplifier..

Number is

Bosch 8697212206

Best Regards

Urquattro 10V - some say the engine is inefficient - here is the truth:
the WR uses
50% for useful and comfortable heating purposes
30% for power and torque - below 3000rpm = more heating avaiable!
20 % for waves of wonderful remarkable boneshaking sound named quattrophony...

so in fact the engine is 100% efficient..

Hello Clusterix,

very interesting! Have you tried if the relay fits the inside? The original
PCB is very small, so I believe the relay you mean needs to be broken?!

Cheers, Michael

Just as an aside I took my power aerial off and replaced with a Bosch external wound fixed 18" whip-style flexible aerial - far better reception, no dead weight under wing (collecting gunge) and better looking IMHO

Hi Michael

I just work on it, from the sitze it will match when removed out of the plastic box- this is no problem

But in fact i was stupid and informed too fast before real testing
In mind all was fine but when working on it i see that i miss one thing

Correct - the motor needs to be reversed in the polatity for up/down not switched as the relays do..
means from the function and timing it is o.k. but not from the polarity...

just in this moment i think about a simple solution for this problem, because only a easy and smart solution is acceptable for me..

regards

Soenke
