yep i know dabber he was in the same pool team as me and my brother,i think it was his familys feild that my brothers integrale ended up in "upside down",could be worse it could have been my car.im bidding on the zinc plater on ebay,dam place takes up half my time and cash.

so was it just the oil seal on the filter,or did you find loads of other things?I have tacken the quattro of the road for winter unless it snows then the snow tyres go on for a bit of fun and sod the tax!have just orderd a zinc electro plating kit to keep me quiet over the winter so i can see shiney bits popping up all over the car and bike,sad or what!it was either that or get a life and this sounded easyer.

no prob its always good to c another quattro nut and i hope you find the problem sooner rather than later,I do have a crank locking tool if you need to borrow one when you get round to do the cambelt also the manual that i can scan and email if it has the info you need.ian
