Thanks Mark,I have found 2 second hand but have been told by my quattro expert mechanic that it is not worth fitting them.Best route is Dialynx if i want a long term solution.I think i agree after talking to a few owners and their past experiences.

what is the reason for it not being worth fitting them?

So long as they are crack free, and all other components are in place and the installation is secure, there should not really be a problem.

A dialynx manifold is a good option, albeit with a number of technical niggles to overcome.

Payed £450 for one a year and a hald ago, but I know it had only been on the previous owners car for 5,000 miles (he the decided to go 20V route) and I also knew who fitted it.

Quite steep, but car was off the road and it was the best I could find!

They all {almost all} seem to crack at some point.Im thinking long term solution here. There is no point in me driving enthusiasticly up a Scottish hillside worrying if my engine mountings and manifold can cope.I am a great believer in listening and gathering information so decision not made yet.All i really know is that i need it to be perfect or its no good.

tbh its the engine mounting that causes em to fail. some will disagree but its that in my book. The mount failed on my blue mb putting strain on the manifold and then it cracks. The white mb had i changed as i assumed it had dropped and it had and that car had just had a full head rebuild and new manifold a few K miles before.
this is the blue ones mount when taken off, they look ok untilremoved and always fall apart....note 20 year old heat shield made by pg tips

The bridge/tunnel thingy between Denmark and Sweden.. "Øresundsbroen" AKA "Øresundsforbindelsen"

The tunnel is good for 300+ km/h.. if you drive an RS6... At night.... Anyways, do yourself a favor and drive into the tunnel with your windows open.. The acoustics is great
