Hi Amanda/Everyone,
I live a couple of miles away from this and have mixed feelings. The building is impressive as a show piece, with a floor dedicated to 'proper' classic audi's - ur quattro's and similar. The problem is that the building is on 4 floors, Ground and 1st owned by Synters audi with all modern stuff. The 3rd and 4th floor owned by Audi Germany (according to the friendly guy on the service desk) - Floor 3 is the classic cars and floor 4 the conference suites. The top floors are only accessed by prior appointment on weekdays only. Almost a sign that these cars are NLA to view. Given my location, I have also been to Mercedes World at Brookland, now that is how a Brand centre should be run - Modern next to Gullwing, all available to see everyday plus Silver Arrow display team on hand. Anyone planning a visit - you have been warned... |

Hi Amanda,
No problem, I meant to post this 'warning' a couple of weeks back but got side-tracked - your post kindly reminded me. I travelled by quattro and can only be grateful that I am about 6-7 miles away. I think you would be a little more upset travelling from the north. Perhaps someone may do a QOC visit, as I don't think they would be best pleased if I called for an appointment...although I was clearly told weekdays only - and I'm sure I am not alone in the world of work so may take some organising. Rumour has it that VW are going to open a Centre of Excellance just up the road in a few years time. The best view of floor 3 is on the M4 flyover, but 50-70 mph doesn't go well with detailed car viewing Sam |

Our first Audi center was finished 6 months ago in a town called Fredericia, not as big as yours but damn they have a nice work area...
