Default aan conversion

I want to get rid of my 10v and drop in an AAN from a 96 s6.
I dont want this to take years to do, so i've decided to keep it as simple as possible by keeping the the box and diff from my 84 ur. I would like to keep a digi dash in it also, so i guess i have to get an mb/rr dash.
anyone done this conversion?
I believe that the AAN will require me to fit the radiator at an angle too
can anybody give me a complete list of what i will need to get from the s6 and anything else needed.
Thanks in advance.

You can keep your original digidash, all the functionality of it can be used. Save yourself a headache and find an ABY engine loom as all the plugs are then plug and play. Remove the spacer ring from the rear of the engine. Bolt your UR flywheel on and use your UR clutch or an uprated one. You will need to fit a spigot bearing in the end of your crankshaft Part No.(046-105-313-D), Modify your power steering pump bracket to retain the UR steering pump. This way there are no other alterations to brakes etc. However never tried to fit a rad into the UR with AAN manifold. That will take a little head scratching as it is fairly tight for space as it is.

I would double check the reference pin location on the 10v to the 20v .ABY loom will plug in but you will need to wire fuel pump relay from a diagram as well as clocks .If you do use s6 loom auto loom is ok to use.S6 power steering pump can also be used.Small mod required to pump.

pin reference is the same

ABY/3B is the easiest route. I would use the original pump to minimise fluid/brake bomb issues

You may have to modify your intake tract too. The intercooler on urs4 is on the front LHS of engine bay, i imagine s6 is same. This space may not exist on a 10v chassis so you will need to keep IC on RHS

Engine mounting brackets differ between AAN and UR.... the AAN is offset slightly (got both here so can measure for you. Best using 10v engine mounts as they bolt straight up. You'll need to change the stub mount for the 10v item too as AAN sits 6inch lower...

Rad wont fit in a typ85 chassis with AAN inlet... not enough room and the angle it needs to turn to makes it too tight.
