I find it amazing that, 26 years on, there are still people who don't put them on automatically when starting the car!
I have to make a concious effort now to not wear one, otherwise I just put it on without thinking, like I don't have to concentrate on gear changes & clutch control etc - it's just another natural thing.
Don't still think that smoking is good for you by any chance?

?
Probably as just a car driver it would be a natural process - like shutting the car door. But I bet many people like lorry drivers, bikers, farmers/workers, plant operators and mechanics etc have to make a conscientious effort.

Personally I find the gubbinsment's attempts to control the minutest aspects of our lives annoying.
Flying just north of Edinburgh today I wished I was loaded up with bombs - could have got rid of Gordon for us all

it's the recession. they've got to make up for lower VAT and falling sales somehow.

you could try inventing a new religion. that usually works. you just need a few customs and rituals. the odd deity helps too.
