Yes, to the wheel centre is the most accurate and is not affected by tyre size etc. What is the dimension on the fronts and rears with the H&R springs please?

It was quite a while ago that I renewed all of my suspension so I haven't a clue now but can anyone tell me if it possible to replace the springs by only removing the top of the strut and dropping the legs down, does this work on a ur?

Thanks

Yes, you can change springs and shocks like that if you undo the strut top mount and loosen / disconnect the wishbones from the subframe.

I now have my car on the floor and can measure the height.
