Hi, I'm looking to change my front subframe bushes soon on my RR quattro, was planning to fit Superflex poly ones - anyone had any experience with these ?, any noticeable difference when driving compared to the originals ?, any downsides ?
Thanks for any info |

Will from VAUDIRECYCLING claims the ones he sells are the best you can get if he still offers them.
I never got to try them though since he didn't want to ship other parts I wanted to buy (Struts) to the USA . Vaudi Recycling Solutions Home |

Alot of people are replacing them with Alum bushes?
If you go done this route, make sure you get the hard anodised ones? Unfortunatly any Alum from aircraft grade HE15 & HE30 will when exposed to the elements eventually oxodise and corrode. The best alum ones are made from HE30 because HE15 has a high content of copper and cannot be hard anodised! S2martyn has just removed alum bushes from his ur quattro and is replacing them with hard anodised ones. |

It's worth establishing here if we are talking about subframe mounts or wishbone bushes, these are different animals and Justin seems to have invented a hybrid!
FWIW, my money is on aluminium mounts and poly wishbone bushes. It makes the car feel like a go-cart and sharpens up the steering precision no end. But it's horses for courses, do you want an armchair special - if so leave it standard, or do you want a car for track days - is so you need solid mounts and nylon bushes... I'm half way house with mine. |
