Default Works cars 'technical' pictures

I wonder if anyone has a good selection of photographs which could be called 'technical' in nature in respect of the Gp4 works cars?

Since my car will not now be going to Historic in Daventry to be prepared, I would like to be in a position to provide my potential choice of motorsport engineering works with a selection of pictures to base their work on.

I have found someone locally who is both respected and accredited in the motorsport fraternity and who has just been certified by custom cages to do bespoke jobs.

I'm going for a complete Gp4 style of shell with removable front panel and, despite originally thinking that V8 was the way to go, I'm now all but settled on an ABY with 6-speed as per the RS2. Getting the RR has probably made my mind up on this as I want to retain the 5cyl, but I want more than the WR can probably give - both in terms of power and tractability.

Any offers of pictures or directions to web-sites where they may be found will be gratefully received.

PM Chewy. He took a massive load of pictures at Sooty's when preparing for his own project car.

On an A2 I calculated over 300 hours in actual modifications and fabrication plus a further 200 hours plus in the fabrication of all the brakets, chassis rails, engine mounts, rad mounts, diff mounts, suspension and chassis mods.
Then theres a roll cage, seam welding, oil and fuel pipe ducts, seat mounts etc etc.
Ive just totted up 35 jobs that need fabrication just off the top of my head. There also the need to have a good shell dipped or blasted and the removal of all the unused brackets and seat rails before you start.
Its a massive massive job. Theres sooooo much stuff you wont see. Its hidden deep inside the chassis. Yes you could pick and choose which bits you want to use but if your going to do it then do it as per original. Its easily a 10k job.
