Laquer Question
Folks, as part of my restoration I'm fitting new wings and i want to protect the lip at the rear of the front arch where all the stones come up and chip it, leading to rust.
I remember Roger Galvin once talking about a clear laquer that was applied to Helecopter Blades that went really hard and thus protected them from damage.
Does anyone know what this stuff is and where I could get some? Or, does anyone know or recommend an alternative / equivelent clear laquer that would protect these exposed areas. I actually intend to apply something like this to all the lip edges of all arches.
Thanks in advance!
